An update icon should be displayed in the top right corner of the app for existing users, while new users can get started from our download page. What’s New in Files v4.2.6
Open a new tab by middle-clicking the tab strip
You can now open a new tab by middle-clicking an empty area of the tab strip, giving you a quick way to add tabs without reaching for the new tab button.
Select items opened from other apps
When you open a file’s location from another application, Files now selects that item in the folder automatically.
